They'll turn a sort of deep browny black, like tarnish on silver. It's unusual for me in that you can actually see my socks, which I never do, although I buy really fun ones from HappySocks because they're hilarious. These are turquoise with magenta polka dots. I suppose if you're stretching you could say they mirror the paler pinks and blues up top, but it's not required. I also think these boots are fated to have a run-in with black liquid polish to tarnish them a more ambiguous smoky color, brown shoes being something of an anomaly for me.</p> <p>Your comments are welcome.
