My bust measures 34DD plus my shoulders are slightly broader than my hips. On size charts based on bust measurements, I fall in between M/L or L, although based on hip/waist, I tend to size smaller. I am 5'6". The sweater itself is oversized. I think I can carry it, but I was slow to warm (my tendency). At first, I buttoned up and it hung from my widest point. DH told me to switch to the middle button, which changed the drape slightly and worked better, IMO.
