It is folded first to make a triangle. Then I fold it longways again, folding the open points to the center. I twist it loosely to make a rope while holding onto the ends, then tie a single loose knot in the middle and tie the ends at the back of my neck. For this scarf I then pulled at the knot to make it larger, playing with it until I liked the look and length ( the knot shortens the length).<br /> Sometimes a new bandana needs to be washed s few times to soften the fabric. I wanted to do a 70's inspired outfit (1-3) but don't feel the denim on denim is working with these pieces. Today was hot, so I used the oversized silk tee with some mustard streaks in the pattern and rolled light mustard ankle pants. This outfit felt more me. (4-5). Does mustard work for me? Comments and suggestions for improvement welcomed. </p>
