Since there are so many shades of navy, pewter, silver, in footwear are best choices. I too am loving navy this season. Have been lucky to find navy pointy toe pumps that fit and are comfy, I am wearing them a lot with my navy blazer and tops, but you are right navy footwear is not easy to find. This outfit is an example of what has become my favorite (and pretty much daily) way to dress...2 pieces, with at least one having some sort of interest, that are easy to put together and comfortable to wear. Add shoes, bag, a ring and earrings and a watch or bracelet and done! </p> <p>I actually bought this top with a navy skirt in mind that I ended up returning. I kept the top because I thought it would work well with jeans and white jeans, forgetting about this skirt which is even better with it than the other would have been. It's better than a flat navy because it doesn't have to be the perfect match, and it also adds some texture to an outfit. I got it at Old Navy and am pleased with the quality (ie the stripes are matched) especially for the price. </p> <p>The top is from Anthro and it has a wonderful texture. I tried to show the detail of the cutout in the back. </p> <p>I tried a few different shoes this morning and settled on these pewter sandals. So I went matchy with the clutch.
