I really needed them, as this blouse was met with a lot of negativity today at work. My two female work colleagues ( who are nice and good friends, but dress like typical scientists and do not follow fashion at all ) think that it is atrocious. They told me that it way too big and shapeless on me, and that the print reminds them of old curtains. Basically that "even their 80-year old granny would consider it frumpy and stay away". I am not hurt (almost) at all, as they are wonderful people and I encourage them to tell me the truth as I am curious how my outfits look to typical scientists. But now I am worried that to 95% of people I see on daily basis who are not aware of current trends at all, this might look horribly outdated.</p> <p>Angie, I did try the sleeve scrunch, but the silk just won't stay as I leave it :(</p> <p>Diana, I can definitely see wearing a blazer over it.</p> <p>Christieanne, the shoes are absolutely wonderful, tough they run on the narrow side. This is my second Equipment blouse, a recent ridiculous score from Nordstrom Rack ( marked down to $38 from original $258). I am curious to know how else what you style it in terms of bottoms. I could also see it with my cream and grey skinnies, and that is it.</p> <p>The shoes are closed-toed Air Tali's that I recently splurged on, as low pewter wedges are essential in my shoe wardrobe. I had to get rid of another Cole Haan 1" wedge pair that was worn into ground, and my Me Too 2" are getting there too.
