Actually, I wasn't taught until I was pregnant and someone at a maternity store explained that even if someone looked 9 months pregnant they asked "who are you shopping for?". Because some women shopped there because they had cancer and their bellies were enlarged, and some for other reasons.<br />And the reverse can happen too. I was very pregnant and wearing a trapeze style top. The new refrigerator came and when they moved out the old one it was very dirty underneath. I said something and so I got down on my hands and knees and got the major stuff off the floor. Couldn't believe they didn't offer given how very very pregnant I was. Anyway, afterwards I said something about being pregnant and they were stunned.
