Seems the only way to make the buckle centered would be to add a piece of leather to the buckle side and extend the buckle out some. Which would offset the extra space on the non buckle side. Sorry I'm sure that's as clear as mud but I can't explain any better. Besides, I think it looks fine as is and is beautiful with the dress. And as far as your comment about the model. I took the belt off and looked.
