Last night I went to a work event that included drinks, dinner and dancing. I wanted to wear something fun yet comfortable. Also, since it is still work related, I didn’t want to wear anything too low cut or short. I was happy I got a chance to wear some vintage things that I had collected, and it came together in a sort of mod way, I think. I’m wearing:</p> <p>Banana republic dress from the Mad Men collection (thrifted)</p> <p>Vintage checked coat</p> <p>Frye boots, vintage (part of my Frye boots capsule, hehe)&lt;——-I love these and try to find every excuse to wear them. Also, I hate heels. At 5 ft tall, it’s nice to get some height without wearing heels.</p> <p>Accessories:<br /> Just a little gold ball necklace that I wear at all time. Really bright lipstick, NARS Red Square. I kinda got stumped here ard ran out of time. I briefly tried on a green scarf but it didn’t look right. I didn’t even bring a bag since this outfit already had 6 pockets total. So, hmm. Accessorizing tips welcome!
