I did it over a year ago so can't remember exactly, but it was something designed to adhere to the foot. I used two pieces to completely "cover" the inside of the toe strap, and it has lasted quite well. The Instagram person is <u>margitk13</u>. She only wore this specific color palette once or twice that I remember, but she usually wears softer colors and her hair and skin tones are pretty close to mine. I also like that she appears to live in a climate like mine, and wears mostly sneakers and other flat shoes </p> <p>Thanks <b>Suz</b>! Hah, hardware store, garden center, they all feel like such big adventures! Plus you went to a botanical garden if I remember correctly. We belong to an organization that owns historic homes all over New England, but only a few just-the-garden tours are open, and when it's a 2 hour round trip drive for a 30 minute garden tour it hardly seems worth it  </p> <p>Thanks <b>lisa p</b>. The high 80’s (F) and super high humidity of the past week finally subsided and it was in the low 80’s and dryer, so wearing lightweight pants and a sleeved top was possible , especially in the morning. We went to a home reno store, TJmaxx, and the grocery store, all in the same shopping area. DH has done 95% of our grocery shopping for many years, and was completely used to the Covid restrictions, but grocery shopping under Covid was a brave new world for me. :-)&nbsp;</p> <p>I can wear warm or cool tones but have mostly leaned toward warm ones and darker colors in the last few years. Starting very late last year I’ve been wanting to try some lighter neutrals, and also some cooler colors. I’m not exactly sure why, but it felt right. I can point to a few specific inspirations:&nbsp;1) Last November <b>Inge </b>posted about this <a rel="nofollow" href="https://youlookfab.com/2019/11/25/trendy-fashion-fun-in-statement-heels/">blogger</a>,&nbsp;and I especially liked her last outfit in lavender and toffee&nbsp; 2) <b>Lisa P&nbsp;</b>&nbsp;posted this <a rel="nofollow" href="https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/topic/first-sales-appt-post-isolation-wiw-5620">outfit</a>&nbsp;in early May, of light tan and blush. &nbsp;I&nbsp;started using Instagram a couple of months ago and found an Austrian woman with&nbsp;coloring like mine and styles that appeal to me, who wore a lovely tan/blush&nbsp;outfit.</p> <p>So…today I wore this outfit of blush and cooler brown tones. The sandals are from last year, but the top, jeans, and bag are new this year. And the mask is new :-)&nbsp; &nbsp;</p> <p>1. Mask<br /> 2. <b>John Paul Richard</b> (Macys) Lace trim top; the “lace” is more like macramé or crochet than traditional lace, which I prefer. Love this top so much I duplicated in two other colors.<br /> 3. <b>Levis</b> skinny jeans<br /> 4. <b>Sofft </b>sandals. I had to add some self-adhesive padding to the inside of the toe strap to get them to fit right, and I need to add more because they have stretched. This brand of sandals is not so good for low volume feet unless the strap at the front is adjustable.<br /> 5.<b> Brahmin</b> cross body. Found this at TJmaxx and combined with rewards coupons cost me $10<br /> 6. Watch, bracelet, earrings (no photo), and a gold charm from my Grandmother’s very chunky charm bracelet worn on a chain. This charm is a bunch of grapes, given to her by a friend who got it on a trip to Portugal.</p> <p>It’s been many, many, years wince I wore pink. I don’t know why my preferences have shifted, but I like it now, especially in softer versions. </p> <p><i><b>Comments, suggestions welcome as always!</b></i> </p>
