I think this length works pretty well on me, somehow. Not just the knee-covering thing, but also something about the proportion seems to work. Not sure if it's something about the length of my calves, or my legs in general, but I feel "comfortable" in this length. </p> <p>I also like a mid-thigh length for shorts (which for me is something around a 7" inseam, which is often hard to find), even though it puts my legs on display. I'll be working in my studio today and taking a long walk to enjoy the change in weather! </p> <p>Tee is by Lucky Brand (a TJMaxx score), the shorts are old Gap bf jeans cut off. Plus the Freebird sandals, and the bag was another Marshalls/TJMaxx bargain -- I just liked the unstructured, patterned bag for an occasional change of pace. Added the Laboradorite and copper ring since it goes so well with the peacock motif. </p> <p>Hubs came in while I was getting ready and proclaimed his love for this look. Men are so funny -- get dressed up and they say nothing. Throw on a tee and shorts and they rave. ;-)</p> <p>PS. yikes, I'm already getting cycling jersey tan on my arms and it has barely been sunny! I need to get on the self-tanner. </p>
