There was barely any snow left but it was still worth it. DD and DS made amazing progress. In three days of lessons DS1 went from barely being able to stand up on the magic carpet hill, to skiing blue runs. DD got her poles and started skiing black diamond runs! They are both way ahead of me now!</p> <p>I decided to upgrade my ski outfit. #1 is from February. I've been wearing the same baggy parka and baggy snow pants for over a decade, and improvising with my kayaking helmet. They were having an end of the season sale at the shops at the ski resort, so I got a Helly Hansen ski parka and pants and thermal for 50% off, and a new white helmet on sale as well! DS2 looked cute in his monster hat. He was super scared of Ripperoo though...he cried and was trembling with fear! I felt so bad for him--it doesn't bode well for our upcoming trip to Disneyland in June!</p> <p>Bonus casual outfit.<br />Thanks for looking! </p>
