I like it and tried to do something similar. So my casual outfit this morning consisted of  roll straight leg blue jeans, Breton long-sleeved tee, silver oxfords, silver necklace, and cream leather blazer ( very old more than 10 years) , red bag and new dioptric sunglasses .  I had a very busy morning, running errands and felt very comfortable.
