I love the red blend for the cordura colors, from what I've seen it's just my kind of red. I also like the Halcyon, my backpack is the original version. The large doesn't look as large on you as I thought it would. But I guess if I would carry enough to need the large size I would probably pick a backpack. I'm thinking of getting a small or medium. I had ordered a Side Effect a while ago and didn't use it much, it just wasn't the right size for me and my things so I sold it again. The olive Cordura is pretty good at hiding dirt and lint, but now that it's been laundered a bunch it doesn't pick up as much fuzz as it did at first. They do offer it in the Halcyon grid fabric too, which is more lint-repellant but looks more like gear and less street-casual. Finally managed a photo with shoes and bag. This is a Tom Bihn cafe bag, which is actually a bit too large now that I no longer have to carry diapers (yay potty training!) and rarely bring a laptop or tablet with me anymore (newish smartphone convert). Shoes are canvas sneakers from Xero, playing around with them as a more comfortable alternative to Chuck Taylors. Jeans are ancient Red Engine bootcuts, cuffed for some ankle. Trying to decide whether to chop them into something fun before they completely disintegrate. </p>
