He was quite taken with an Italian brand called Napapijri and cut quite a swath through their in-store boutique: tees, linen button front shirts, a jacket, a hat, and his beloved rubber pool sandals (fortunately his pants were in the suitcase that wasn't lost). To this day those pieces are some of the coolest things in his wardrobe!</p> <p><b>Suz</b>, my mom used to say "I don't go on vacation to shop!" in this very holier-than-thou way. What we packed was perfectly fine for Bordeaux, but we completely misjudged the weather in Paris. I was honestly schocked at the temperature difference between the two regions. I had to walk into a store and buy some topper. I chose a fuchsia blazer! Some of my favorites from traveling over the years that are still in my wardrobe include the black Icelandic wool sweater from Iceland. The black Sukajan bomber jacket from Japan. The black Aspinal of London bag from Harrods in England. But I don’t always buy black! </p> <p>My most recent items are from Italy all in tans, a tan leather bag, a tan woven pair of sandals custom made for my feet, and a tan woven tote. </p> <p>The teal plaid shirt is from a roadside stand in Sedona, I liked the truck design in the back which you can see in the finds additional photos.</p> <p>I also have a fondness for Life is a good graphics tees and am always on the lookout for them when traveling around the US. I wore them today to my Rotary Club luncheon with an older chambray shirt (You can't see in the photo, but there is a demin inset at the waist in back of the skirt), navy loafers, and blue bag (LV bought in Paris).</p> <p>Photo 3 is what I wore to a dinner meeting last night -- the moto jacket is from a couple of years ago, the black coulottes jumped out of a store window in Seoul and followed me home about ten years ago, and the leopard shirt was bought onboard the cruise ship on this most recent vacation. Oh, and the Gucci bag is a souvenir from Florence!</p> <p>Anybody else like to buy clothes on vacation? </p>
