If that's your issue you could dress it down with a fluid fitting cardi in fuchsia or black that hits below your hip line and belt it with a skinny belt in purple, mustard or yellow.&nbsp; You could also do the same with a skinny belt (fuchsia, mustard, purple, yellow etc...) under a black well-fitting jacket. I may be biased because I gave up buying shoes in colors other than neutral (the traditional definition of neutral that is ;-))&nbsp;&nbsp;a few years ago. Since I'm petite and gained more weight than I like,&nbsp;I found out they don't do me any favors. They actually didn't do me any favors even before the weight gain.&nbsp;With dresses and skirts I always go with shoes in a nude color (to my own skin, of course), with heels as high as possible, and with fronts as open as possible. That gives me the most mileage. All kinds of elaborate straps half-way up to your knees may be all the rage, but if they're not flattering on ME, it doesn't count. I don't strive to look like a trendy clown.</span> </p>
