This was the best I could do)<br /> - my pearls didn't look right so I wore two gold chains, one with a vintage purple semi-precious stone pendant (this is the first time I have ever worn more than one necklace at a time)<br /> - statement shoes - blue/red/cream strappy sandals from M&amp;S last year</p> <p>How did I do? - I felt great all evening! (I did wonder all the way to the hotel where we were eating if there was a 'no jeans' policy and probably should have checked, but it was fine...)</p> <p>ETA so cross it's in the wrong section - thought I'd stopped doing that, but it's bedtime in the UK now and I obviously wasn't thinking... </p>
