We went to the Brooklyn, their oysters were da bomb! Shoes survived a few blocks walk to and from the bus stop. No issues for that walk, though they feel a bit strange and surprisingly warm. I don't think they'll be heavy wear shoes due to the heel being entirely lucite.<br /> This was a much needed break for me. I first tried them without socks, but I think there was part on my big toe that would rub. The leather is pretty soft though. At the bottom of my sock bin I had a pair of Halloween toe socks I bought on impulse at Target eons ago. They worked. Someone on my previous thread recommended some toe socks meant for those 5-fingered toe shoes, will make a trip to REI to get some. My Dad said I shouldn't wear them to a concert because the soprano might hit a high C and shatter the heel.<br /> Worn with Rag &amp; Bone long tail jacket, Brooks Brothers no-iron button down, See by Chloe wool shorts, and hooray for footless tights. Also a clear lucite necklace to bookend or matchy-match the shoes. </p>
