I have gallons of vinegar and Nature's Miracle! The thing is, before I can even get to that part of the process, I have been removing old vinyl tile from the basement floor (I remember playing on that tile when I was 5 years old, so the stuff has to be 50 years old), which is the first layer of attack. Then I'll need to scrape the residue from the concrete floor, and THEN I can douse it in enzyme to help get rid of the smell. There is also wood paneling on the walls, and I suspect some of the smell is in the lower portion of the walls. And all of that is just the basement -- there is so much more to do! </p> <p>Today I'm taking a break from cleaning. Running around today dealing with rental property stuff and errands. I'm stressed out and exhausted this week so I may not be looking my best. </p> <p>Plaid shirt from Target, BCBG layering tee underneath, Lucky Brand skinnies dirt cheap from TJMaxx, Sorel boots (rainy/snowy this morning, clearing up now), and Kensie long houndstooth coat.</p> <p>Pics taken in what used to be my home office. This was the house we lived in when I first met hubs -- we married in the back yard. We now rent it out, and the latest tenant, who was wonderful, moved out. So I have two empty houses to clean and repair and get ready for new tenants. They're an hour's drive apart too, so lots of traveling. This house is in pretty good shape, but the other one has 15 years of accumulated cat pee stink in the basement. Ugh ugh ugh. I got home last night feeling like I couldn't get the smell out of my nose. </p>
