You look so good in these dresses. Nice week of outfits.

I am a bit inconsistent - sometimes if I work from home I will wear activewear all day. I sometimes change out of my workwear at home -other days I wear until the evening. It depends what they are.

I really like that last black dress. I have been looking for a non-blazer work topper for a while. I saw this jacket online and may go check it out in a local boutique

https://www.zoekratzmann.com/p.....8761529593

It is pricey though.

Thanks Angie!! Will have to take a look at Dee’s ditsy florals as they and florals in general definitely seem to be coming through strongly in my wardrobe.

Sisi the pants in #4 are different from #2, true leggings would not be appropriate in my workplace and I wouldn’t feel comfortable in them. The pants in #4 don’t seem to photograph well for me but they are these Sateen Jeans from Country Road. I have them in both navy and black and they work really well for that fluid top and slim bottoms formula.

There seems to a mix of what people wear at home and for some it depends on the activities/time of day. I do tend to put on more of a proper outfit (not sweats) for working from home as I agree with Suz and Sarah that it helps put you in the right mindset. Also agree with Angie and Lisa that changing into relaxed clothing can help with that end of day transition. Jaime I know Angie has mentioned she uses aprons to protect her clothes, but like you I prefer not to cook in my outdoor clothing either.

Another week of lovely and cohesive outfits! I like the subtle pattern mixing in 5.

Like Suz I work from home and wear regular clothes -- I feel much more productive and ready to show up cognitively if I get properly dressed for work. (But yes, I might add a bit more of a dressy element and a bit more jewelry when I go out.) Typically I get dressed after breakfast and don't change out of my daytime clothes until after dinner. Very little crossover between my gear wardrobe and my regular wardrobe as my main form of exercise is lap swimming!

Pretty outfits, all of them. My favorites are #1, 2, 4 and 6. I like the silhouette of # 4 - fluid top + slim bottoms. Are these the same leggins of # 2? Do you wear leggins at work? I ask because recently I'm attracted to leggins, but here where I live it is not common to wear them to go out. You look fab!

I have home only clothes and out of the house clothes. Changing at the end of the workday tells my brain it's time to relax.

Sweats I will only wear at home. I will wear athleisure at home and to the gym but not for errands or out to dinner, etc. Many of my athleisure WIW photos I'm outside the house long enough to take the picture but back inside afterwards. :)

You have a lovely collection of small florals. I especially like the pairing with the blazer in #5, but I am very biased because I adore a good blazer. Blazers really add some polish to an outfit.

6/7, isn't it fun how one small change (like adding a topper here) really impacts the look of an outfit. It's a completely different vibe with the dress alone vs with the topper. Very versatile!

Your outfits are all very pretty - agree that you wear the small florals beautifully and I like the suede loafers a lot!
I am like you, I change into indoor clothing when I get home - mostly because I don't want to get cooking oil or the like on my outdoor clothing!

You really leaned into the florals this week! You definitely rank right up there with Queen Dee!

I like the first dress a lot, casualized with sandals. You will wear it more that way for sure!

Third dress is also really nice on you -- I like it with the loafers, which bookend your h air, and the fit is really lovely.

In answer to your question: I don't really have a lounge capsule. Though from time to time I try to build one, it hasn't quite worked out for me so far!

I mostly work from home. So my wardrobe is primarily casual, with some dressier items mixed in. I wear my regular clothes for work from home -- same clothes i wear when I go out and about, though I do often dial down the dressy aspect at home. I also wear less jewellery at home. And indoor footwear.

And I change into gear for gear activities. i don't have very many crossover items, but there are a few -- mostly merino tops, as in your example.

RachelNZ, I hereby crown you Queen Ditsy Floral (with Dee who is our other Queen Ditsy Floral!), and Queen '90s Dress! You wear those looks with the best of them :)

On that note #1, #3 and #4 are my faves! #3 is a KILLER frock with the loafers. Love that on you.

#6 is awfully pretty on you too!

To answer your question: I ALWAYS change into lounge clothes for the evening at home! That makes me RELAX for the night. Those clothes don't go outside. As for WFH days or days at home, I wear what I always wear, whether I'm at home or out and about ;)

I also wore a school uniform for 12 years!

I had a few days where I didn’t leave the house this week so fewer outfits were worn.

I have quite a strict demarcation between clothes I wear at home and what I wear out of the house. I feel like it developed from wearing a school uniform and when we got home, we would always take them off and put on farm clothes. I still do exactly the same when I get home from work! Conversely I don’t really wear the clothes I wear at home out of the house and try to only wear gear when exercising.

How about you?

#1 We met some friends for lunch and I felt really good in this, a mix of dressy and casual. It would have been easy for me to relegate this dress to my evening wardrobe but wearing it this way feels like it will get a lot more opportunities to be worn.

#2 A rare situation where I quickly popped to the supermarket in my lululemon tights before I went for a walk with my friend (put sports shoes on for a hard hill walk!). I’ve repurposed a few older merino pieces into toppers for walking and the gym and they feel more me than a typical gear item.

#3 This dress is a bit outside my standard colourway but really like it with the tan loafers and it also works in winter with black boots.

#4 & #5 I have a dress in this pattern as well and this is one of my comfort outfits when I’m feeling a bit blah for work. Some subtle pattern mixing with a checked blazer over-top although it then just sits on the back of my chair all day.

#6 & #7 I wore the topper all day which actually makes this dress a completely different outfit really. I tried on all my possible black toppers (navy didn’t look right) and decided that I didn’t mind this one as I really wanted to wear the dress. As Sharan suggested on last weeks post I may need to look for some short jackets, any suggestions are appreciated.

We are heading away today for 5 days so not sure whether I will be able to get photos for next week, might have to ask DH to snap a few for me.
