I spent so much time fighting to put together colors that didn't include neutrals as I was learning new color combinations that I spent quite a few hours (and quite a few blog posts) on new to me color combinations. I had to do the legwork because it was taking too much time before work to put together outfits. I had planned to wear some slouchy culottes, but then the volume on the bottom with the two sweaters on top (actually three because there's a black turtleneck under there, too, for warmth) looked too bulky. Then I switched out for the pleather pants and then the suede knee-length boots didn't work any more, and black booties seemed too boring. So I thought I'd bookend my hair with the tan booties, but then it was too much black on top with the turtleneck, so I added the scarf, and... anyway here you have it. I feel like the polka dot/leopard original idea kind of got lost.</p> <p>Do you ever feel like you have to fight for your outfit? </p>
