I learned to sew when I was quite young and made a lot of my own clothes in my 20's and 30's, so basic tailoring/alteration stuff is easy for me. When you have a size/shape like I do it turns out to be a terrific skill to have. Even on those rare occasions where I pay someone to do it I always have a decent understanding of what is possible.  Runcarla - the lace top is still available to satisfy your wantsies! I agree that the looser fit on the blue top is just fine -- that's how tops like that are meant to look, I think. Yes the lace top would definitely go with grey although at the moment I've got a huge gaping wardrobe hole in the closet section where grey bottoms should be. Too big and chunky, too silver. I tried smaller sizes in each but they were too tight. I do know that Anthro carries petites sizes, but never in the stores near me. The beige one did come in petites but completely sold out. The blue one never came in petite sizes. Blue ombre shirt, with white jeans and white sandals. Threw in my very old lapis necklace that DH gave me eons ago. Entertaining at home so no bag (aka poggabook). This top is a little long in front so I may shorten (just the front) it as I so often do with non-petite shirts/blouses. And, the shoulders/neckline are a little loose but I like the look.  “Beige” lace top (kind of a warm peachy/buttery beige), brown cargos, brown sandals.  The pants started out with gathered slightly cropped hems which is a length/shape I don't like (yet I bought them)  so I opened up the placket and let them down.  I altered the top by taking in the shoulder seams and side/underarm seams to give a better fit.   Got out a bag I haven’t used since pre-Covid. I really like both of these! I can see wearing the blue one with blue jeans and the beige one with various jackets/bottoms as we move into cooler temps. Comments and suggestions welcome as always! p.s.
