Congratulations on the new job, J!

What about this top?
http://shop.mango.com/AU/p0/ma.....5681270944

it could look really cute under either one of your blazers, and would transition over to the weekend quite well too, I think.

First of all: Congrats on your new job! This sounds like a great opportunity for you. I don't have particular basics to suggest from your desired retailers, sorry. I think the grey suit is fab as a neutral starting point. You can definitely pair the skirt with the white blazers, and I prefer the shorter one for this. The longer one needs a more tapered skirt, I think.

Hey girls! Sorry for being MIA, but after a week of holidays abroad, I had a few freelance jobs I had to finish in a super short time... Plus I had to get ready for beginning at a fresh new office.
Remember the job interview I had on the same day I went to the opera? I was wearing a LBD and a cobalt blue colorblock bag. Well, I got the job!
After 3 years as a freelancer, mainly getting my work done remotely, I have a rather dated and limited "work-in-an-office-setting" capsule. Could you guys pick options for me that are 1) non seasonal (I want pieces that can go from scorching summer to deep winter... Hard, I know!) and 2) from the following retailers: Mango.com; HM.com and Sisley.com. If you find some Zara pieces that are worth it, I might go to the shop and to the tailor to get them fixed.
I am leaving to the office now (its 7:35 am... and I hv an hour of public transportation ahead of me) wearing the complete grey skirt suit combo. But I find it rather boring.
I am working in the media department of an IT company and they seem to be more on the conservative side when it comes to dressing. When I was interviewing, my now boss was wearing jeans, a button down and a blazer. (Business casual, OK. He is the only guy in the department.) But the 2 girls/co-workers I met were wearing 1)a white button down, grey pencil and nude heels and 2)black trousers, black heels and a mustard cardigan worn as a blouse (all buttoned up).
It is going to be scorching hot today (38 degrees) - a record heat in Vienna - but it was also raining last night, and the forecast says there is high chance of storm...

I liked the grey skirt with the longer white blazer better, but does it work? Are the proportions OK?
I have the alternative white blazer, shorter and snugger... But I felt weird on it with the grey, somewhat looser skirt. Which of the 2 white combos do you guys believe work? Or none?
Anyways, off I go. Let me know!
