The colour adds the fun element. </p> https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/topic/wiw-15-01-19-23-citron-with-a-dash-of-ingunn-challenge#post-1430169 Fri, 23 Jan 2015 17:51:55 +0000 Elizabeth P 1430169@https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/ <p>I started out the week with great intentions of the Ingunn Challenge, despite knowing that a couple of things did not exist in my wardrobe.&nbsp; </p> <p>1.&nbsp; Button down with Lace.&nbsp; Well, the only lace in my wardrobe is a jacket withlace sleeves, and it's just TOO DARN COLD for that right now.&nbsp; But I did wear a button down!&nbsp; </p> <p>2.&nbsp; No Ingunn challenge here.&nbsp; Just comfy NYDJ skinnies, BR cardigan and boots.</p> <p>3.&nbsp; MY BAG ARRIVED!!!&nbsp; Yup, I'm yelling.&nbsp; I LOVE this bag.&nbsp; It's a bit smaller than I was expecting, which is probably a good thing.&nbsp; More purse and less tote.&nbsp; Two compliments from total strangers.&nbsp; Was in a conference so went for more "conference wear", and it was hard for me to incorporate the Ingunn challenge criteria into this.</p> <p>4.&nbsp; Had to wear the bag again.&nbsp; Day 2 of conference, and I was giving a presentation.&nbsp; Danier tank, Jacob skirt and new EF cardigan.&nbsp; Man I love this cardigan.&nbsp; Perfect length for me to wear with leggings (maybe even skirted ones, cough cough), lightweight so great for travel, probably will work for three seasons.&nbsp; I had bought it in blue and loved it so much I duplicated when it went on sale 50% off.&nbsp; Snow forecast so wearing boots that are weatherproof plus fashionable.&nbsp; Who knew that combo existed? :)</p> <p>5.&nbsp; Colour blocking.&nbsp; Sort of.&nbsp; This is a black dress with a red bodice and sleeves.&nbsp; I have rarely worn it, as it's pretty body con and I've put on a few pounds since I got it.&nbsp; I had to go to a conference dinner, and it was snowing sideways, so I wanted to wear boots that I could wear in the snow as well as inside.&nbsp; The colour blocking idea made me dig the dress out.&nbsp; And I discovered that the EF cardigan, plus the belt, totally dealt with tbe body con issues.&nbsp; This felt like the perfect thing to dine with colleagues in.</p> <p>And this (Friday) (Casual day) was the day to try denim on denim, however I'm at home with a sick child so am in Lulu's.&nbsp; And if she were well, we'd be on a school ski trip.&nbsp; Sucky day for her.</p> <p>So a bit of a bust on the Ingunn Challenge front, but I hope it wasn't a bust on the outfit front.</p> <p>Oh, and I LOVE MY NEW BAG!</p>
