It's a magical polyester, isn't it?&nbsp;</p> <p>(I use that expression all the time!) </p> https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/topic/wiw-1223-cropped-kick-flare-jeans-for-a-wet-and-dreary-winter-day#post-1596102 Wed, 23 Dec 2015 22:56:06 +0000 Tanya 1596102@https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/ <p>As most of you probably know, we have been having quite ridiculous weather on the east coast.&nbsp; Today it has been in the 60s, and raining like crazy all day long.&nbsp; My old (British) English teacher would have used the expression "It is raining cats and dogs", which she always seemed quite proud of and had a cute snicker whenever she would say that as if she knows something nobody else does.<br />I have decided to break out the ruffled neck H&amp;M&nbsp; blouse that a couple of other fabbers have, snapped for a song at Thanksgiving sales; and paired it with a pair of faded black cropped kick-flare H&amp;M jeans scored at the same time.&nbsp; While Angie treats the blouse as rust, I have decided to treat the pattern as burgundy for all my purposes as burgundy is much more flattering color for me.&nbsp; So I added a burgundy/black Madewell belt, pewter Elie Tahari booties, old Gibson burgundy knit blazer and burgundy Steve Madden satchel.&nbsp;&nbsp; Out in the rain extra additions were black BR trench and a plaid Gap umbrella.&nbsp; <br />The black H&amp;M jeans are a little longer than my blue cropped kick flare Express jeans and the flare is a bit more pronounced.&nbsp; I have been wearing them at their original length so far, but was wondering if they would benefit from shortening them an inch or so.&nbsp;&nbsp; However, I would loose some of the flare if I do so.&nbsp; What do you say - keep them as is or shorten a little?<br />Wishing everyone wonderful holidays!</p> <p>&nbsp; </p>
