I love the idea that you don't have to spend money to look good. Then a Nordy SA put me in this Theory blazer and the response at work (from people who have probably never heard of Theory) was immediate. "Nice blazer! You look VERY professional today! How long have you had that? You look VERY nice!" People responded to it very differently from how they respond to anything else I wear. It was so interesting to see them respond to the quality of the piece. But hence the shyness! When I wear a Gap blazer nobody bothers about it.</p> <p>I bought it in March and it's taken me till now to try wearing it often enough that people get used to it.</p> <p>I've also realized: this is a 3-season piece. Now granted that the 4th season (Summer) is about 6 months long. Still. A well-tailored blazer in a lightweight gray wool takes me through Fall, Winter, and Spring.
