Can't remember any recent laundry disasters, but when I was a teen I got this amazing pale yellow super soft and fuzzy turtleneck sweater. Maybe it was angora? Not sure.

Well, somehow it ended up washed and dried and so shrunken, it was half the original size! It was, however a perfect fit for my sister who is 8 years younger than me. She was 6 years old at the time.

Love both of these outfits, K! Very euro-inspired to my eye, so very chic!

I am usually the one who commits the laundry offenses in my house, so I will refrain from sharing stories!

Glad you were able to replace the top! Both of these outfits are wonderful. :)

I am very possessive over doing my own laundry, so I don't have too many funny stories, but when I was travelling a couple months ago I had the place I was staying in do it & my wool sweater definitely came back a bit smaller and felt-ier. Oh well, it still fits!

Two gorgeous looks, I love that little plaid skirt, you look fabulous and I'm glad you found a replacement top horrible feeling when you destroy something that actually works well.

I'm a little late getting my WIW's up, but I think y'all will forgive me. :)

The first pic is what I wore to work on the 18th. My DF told me he loved my scarf with the top and skirt. But, the scarf was off for part of the day because the heat in our building is a bit crazy and doesn't know what it wants to do sometimes. It was a comfy outfit and I think it may be worth repeating.

Top - Ann Taylor
Skirt - Tommy Hilfiger
Shoes - Franco Sarto
Scarf- Gap

I finally found my foiled top! I feel like it's the right amount of sparkle for the office and it's super comfy. And my Secret Santa gift went perfectly with it!

And after I wore this outfit on Monday, it met it's end at the hands of my well meaning DF. It was put in the washer and dryer with everything else when it was hand wash and dry flat. The good news is that I found the exact same top yesterday when I was out shopping with my mom. Yay!

Cardigan - Mango Basics
Top - Banana Republic Outlet
Skirt - The Limited
Necklace and Bracelet - Ann Taylor Loft

Thanks for looking! And any feedback or funny stories about the people we love destroying our clothes is welcome!
