I LOVE IT.&nbsp;</i></p> <p> </p> https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/topic/wiw-1212-easy-faux-fur-vest-second-version-mini-holiday-challenge#post-1759874 Mon, 12 Dec 2016 22:30:10 +0000 Tanya 1759874@https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/ <p>Today I went for the second version of the Faux Fur Vest Holiday Ensemble, this time in color, as the first version on Friday was all dark neutrals.&nbsp;&nbsp; The outfit was built around one of my Black Friday scores, a burgundy mixed media (faux fur and heavy knit) long vest by Limited.</p> <p>Since I love blush and burgundy together, I decided to wear the vest over a column of blush: perforated cashmere H&amp;M sweater, cropped flare J.Crew Teddie pants, TopShop Marilyn booties and House of Harlow pendant necklace.&nbsp; For the outside, I added a blush cocoon Express coat and knit hat, a burgundy Esprit scarf, burgundy Steve Madden satchel and (not shown) burgundy leather gloves.&nbsp; It might have been a bit over the top but I had fun with it.&nbsp; The blush pieces are not all the same color: the pants, coat and hat are more true cool pale pink, while the sweater and the booties are sightly lighter nude-blush.&nbsp; It worked together to my eye,&nbsp; and hope it does to yours as well.&nbsp; </p> <p>I have decided to give myself a fun little challenge in dressing in (more or less) festive holiday outfits till mid-Janaury, so 5 weeks total.&nbsp;&nbsp; The middle week, between Christmas and New Year's will be light as I will doing another stay-cation.&nbsp;&nbsp; I am going till mid-January as we celebrate Orthodox Christmas on January 7th according to the Julian calendar, and simply for fun, a second, old calendar New Year on January 14th.&nbsp; I suspect most of the outfits will be inspired by Angie's holiday ensembles from past years and most will be some kind of lightly bling-ed up jeans.&nbsp; I invite everyone who is in the mood to join me and post there festive every-day outfits on the forum. </p>
