Back to work after the holiday in a bunch of pieces ranging from new-this-year shoes to my-first-year-on YLF beloved ponte moto jacket. The necklace is a favorite because Aida helped me pick it out during a YLF meetup, and the bag is a gift from Lovely Husband from what turned out to be his last solo trip to Italy before we were married.</p> <p>2.These pieces are all dearly beloved: I got the skirt and jacket while shopping with Angie and the gang at Shoptember Ingefest in Seattle, and the scarf is my very favorite ever even though it's from Target years ago. The sweater is new and of course the bag is The Precious from last New Year's trip to London. (In fact, I think this photo was taken on its birthday!)</p> <p>3. The pantsuit is from NAS 2016, the sweater and shoes are new this year, and the scarf was bought at a Coach store on a cruise ship some years ago. These metallic loafers are turning out to be real workhorses!</p> <p>4. Which brings us to today. Some days you have to fight for your outfit and today was one of those days. I had planned to wear my red plaid flannel shirt (see find below) and navy sleeveless blazer, but then I couldn't find the right bottoms. Then I pulled these Club Monaco culottes (also purchased with Angie in Seattle) out of the closet, but they didn't work with the red shirt, so I grabbed the long-sleeved striped tee, which didn't work with the sleeveless blazer so I added my new-this-year Cabi blazer. Tried on every scarf in the closet before settling on the pile of pearls. Was late to work but I think it works.</p> <p>Thanks for indulging my ramblings!
