I'm so glad the brooch works: I think taking/looking at pics makes me second guess myself.&nbsp;I'll have to try the boots on with a trouser outfit too just to make sure they work with both ways (they're a size 7 and fit perfectly in the width, heel, and mid-foot area but they're at least half an inch longer than my actual foot so I'm not sure if they look a bit pointy with skinnies). But they are beautiful and it's quite tricky to find grey shoes so I'm definitely leaning towards keep!</p> <p>Anna, I will happily trade you: I prefer grey skies to sunny ones and cool and cold weather to warm and hot.</p> <p>Shevia I don't think that's weird, and I'm actually thrilled you said it since it's kind of an aim of mine to integrate my hair. Not a terribly interesting outfit, but I was comfortable for a day spent mainly doing homebody stuff. The biggest event was walking my dog! I just got these boots (they're Frye, on sale at 6pm.com) and am still deciding whether or not to keep them, so I switched to different (brown vintage hiking)&nbsp;lace up ankle boots for the walk. The tee is actually grey &amp; white stripes but that's difficult to see except in the detail shot! My little fox brooch is vintage&nbsp;from Etsy: I love brooches since I tend to wear higher necklines so necklaces can be difficult to coordinate.</p> <p>I felt good in this but looking at the pictures I'm not sure if the brooch is a bit shiny and out of place considering the muted tones &amp; textures of everything else? Maybe I should have pinned it&nbsp;lower or used a more matte brooch on this dress?</p> <p>All thoughts are welcome (especially on the boots &amp; brooch)!
