And I love your use of colour. It will make the world seem a better place.&nbsp;<br />When in doubt of a modern or not outfit, I have learned to change the footwear. Which, to me is very scary. Wearing booties with a skirt or dress is very difficult for me, but I am starting to get used to it and get raving reviews. Yesterday I grabbed some oldies but goodies: cobalt turtleneck from Lands End, Eliza J cobalt jacket, my beloved orange Banana Republic pants gifted by Suz, Ann Taylor pumps, Coach tote, and a scarf that was a gift from a friend some years ago.</p> <p>2/3. Today I led the singing at my Rotary Club luncheon, and the theme was Santa Claus, of all things. Instead of Christmas red and green, I decided to go not-quite-red-and-green and substitute magenta for red. Halogen skirt, Amber Sun knit top, Halogen cardigan, Missoni for Target scarf, Jessica Simpson pumps, Dooney &amp; Bourke satchel. And because it was cool I topped it off with my fave new sweatery poncho/cape.</p> <p>What do you all think? Most of these pieces are old -- do they look current to your eye? What could I do to make them look more up-to-date? </p>
