I buy them with the knowledge that I tend to scrunch up my sleeves anyway, but forgetting that I need to be able to hold onto the sleeve of the knit top to get a layer on over it (or the knit top needs to have short sleeves). So for this practical reason, I'm trying to avoid 3/4 sleeves if I will need to put a layer on top (in AZ, 3/4 sleeve jackets and cardis end up being my outermost layer, so they're ok).</p> <p>Visually, I'm not sure what can be done about the width when worn alone. When there is a lot of width at the sleeve opening I end up feeling like my arms are little sticks poking out from underneath. Maybe I'm just picky and it's not a problem for you or most people.
