And high fiving you and Suz: we need more lilac in our lives!-) While we are on the subject, I ordered the J.Crew Cambridge Cable Turtleneck jumper in heather lilac and love it. But it's a very pale lilac, more of a super light lavender. Beautiful for sure, but not a saturated lilac, like that fantastic DVF sweater we both love.</p> <p>So glad you got the HL sweatshirt on sale, it's a beautiful piece, and I think it will play well with all your other fab clothes. Love the leopard booties with this. </p> https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/topic/wiw-1114-lilac-toffee-and-white#post-1396722 Fri, 14 Nov 2014 17:15:55 +0000 Tanya 1396722@https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/ <p>I really, really love the color combo in today's ensemble post, so pretty!&nbsp; Lilac is one of my best colors and I really like it, so I was quite a bit disappointed when looking through my closet to realize that I only have a few lilac pieces.&nbsp; I used to have a lot of it, but I guess most of the pieces must have been purged recently with a shift to looser fit.&nbsp; So I must keep this in mind for the upcoming holiday sales.&nbsp; On the other hand, toffee is not one of my good colors ( taupe works much better), but I do have a pair of fun coated toffee jeans and snow leopard booties with print in toffee, white and super dark brown.</p> <p>So today's outfit is based on those coated Habitual toffee jeans and snow leopard Petty's.&nbsp; I added a J Crew lilac merino sweater and slightly darker lilac BR cashmere infinity scarf.&nbsp; Final touches were an off-white belt and my newest wardrobe pet, Helmut Lang sweatshirt in off-white!&nbsp; I have been wanting it forever, but wasn't too happy with its price.&nbsp; Nordstrom recently ran a 30% off promo of it so I pounced.&nbsp; I really hope it becomes a workhorse.&nbsp; It is super cold outside so I will probably top this all with a wool coat.</p> <p>As always, all the comment and suggestions are welcome! </p>
