The jeans ground the look &nbsp;with regard to color. I think the looser fit at the hips is what makes you feel a bit frumpy. Another pair of Crown Vintage shoes that I just love...laceless pointy-toed oxfords in grey. Note the bookending I'll have to post a close up of them later.</p> <p>A note on color issues: there is actually quite a bit of the bright purple in the jacket that echos the t-shirt. I do not understand why it's not showing up in the photo...perhaps the camera flash washed that out? </p>
