A little weird, really. The buyer didn't come to the closing -- he signed the paperwork at his realtor's office down in DC while I signed at my realtor's office in Baltimore, so I never even got to meet him. I've never been at a settlement like that before. It's an odd feeling to let go of a house that was in the family for almost half a century, but my sister and I are at peace with it.
