It's the length of <b>th</b><b>at style of WRAP top</b>. The wrap creates<i> another waist</i> under the bust, AND with your &nbsp;long waist, it's shorter length makes your waist look even longer. If the length of the wrap top grazed your hip bones, your waist would look shorter because the distance from under-bust to crotch point would look shorter.&nbsp;</p> <p>The purple wrap looks a little longer. The low contrast with the jeans helps shorten the distance between the under-bust and the crotch point.&nbsp;</p> <p>FWIW, that's what I see. It's not a biggie at all, Tanya. You look beautiful. I'm pedantic about lengths! Fresh without inviting comments on edge. </p> https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/topic/wiw-1021-statement-houndstooth-bag#post-1743051 Sat, 22 Oct 2016 15:54:35 +0000 Tanya 1743051@https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/ <p>Yesterday was a bit of crazy day for me, so I never got around to post the outfit based on the ensemble post.&nbsp; I do not own a leopard bag, though I would really like one.&nbsp; However, I do own a very old Express houndstooth bag, so I put together the first version of the outfit with it.</p> <p>This was the first time I wore culottes to work, and I was quite pleased that nobody said anything or gave me any strange looks.&nbsp; I combined the black pinstripe denim culottes I made by hacking an old pair of Rich&amp;Skinny wide legged jeans, with ancient Express white wrap shirt, and more recent BR long grey cardigan and Stuart Weitzmann pointy black booties.&nbsp; I added a little leopard/shoe print silk neckerchief scarf for a touch of leopard.&nbsp;&nbsp; I was pleased with the subtle textures/patterns: beside the bag and the scarf, the culottes have a pinstripe and the shirt a burnout texture. </p>
