I was there and I wore boots and skirts exactly like that with slim fitting tops. It was a pretty look then and it is now. This look does have a bit of a retro feel.  I think I might try a sharper, more modern jacket on top to add more structure, but I like it as is! Got various comments about this outfit being from the 1920's or the 1940's from different people throughout the day. I thought it was fine.
