Glad you had a beautiful birthday bash. xo&nbsp; </p> https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/topic/wiw-1012-birthday-dresses#post-1376278 Wed, 15 Oct 2014 13:57:07 +0000 Tanya 1376278@https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/ <p>I haven't been much around on the forum in the last two weeks, as I was super busy, and I have quite a backlog of outfits to post.&nbsp; First, here is what I wore on my birthday, which are two new dresses!&nbsp; I had a wonderful day and was really spoiled by my friends.&nbsp; The day started with a fancy brunch with lots of chocolate and some champagne, then I got a haircut, and in the evening there was a lovely dinner with lots of people in a very nice Italian restaurant.&nbsp; I had a blast.</p> <p>The first dress was an accidental find at a Rack, very deeply discounted.&nbsp; It is a DVF, and she has been making similar dresses for years.&nbsp; I have always liked them, but the full price was a bit too much for a dress that would not get worn a lot. The color may be a bit too strong for my coloring, but with slightly stronger make up I think I can get away with it.&nbsp; I tried to really dress it down for the brunch with tights and boots.&nbsp; But I mostly plan to dress it up in the future and wear it with heels.</p> <p>The second dress was a planned BR purchase.&nbsp; I haven't bought a new dance dress in years, and wanted to update my collection. I had also wanted something that can be worn in other situations though, and this dress was perfect.&nbsp; It can be worn as skirt with various knitwear which increases the styling options.</p> <p>As always, all the comments and suggestions are welcome!</p> </p>
