I'm glad I finally ventured into skinnies, and later experimented with boyfriend jeans and other styles that were not so much in my comfort zone. Worn with a simple AE metallic-flecked tee, Lucky bootcut jeans, and a little added texture and color in my blue Modern Vice boots and snake print tote. </p> <p>I'm wearing this to meet with a restaurant manager about showing some work in their space, and then some errands around town before picking up my husband and a friend from the airport. </p> <p>I suppose in a way I am embracing a version of the "new" silhouettes Angie posted about the other day, since I have worn fitted tops and flares 3 out of the last 4 days. It doesn't feel groundbreaking to me because it's my old standby style from way before I found YLF. I haven't been wearing the crops so much, and I just realized I should have been wearing them while my husband was away, since he's not a big fan. However, full-length flares are a really easy thing for me to wear. I feel a little conspicuous in cropped flares for some reason. This feels more classic with an edge than trendy, and I guess that's ok.</p> <p>Feedback always welcome. </p>
