It feels kind of like tencel, I think (which makes sense because it's also a cellulose based fiber). It's very drapey, with very little spring, especially when it is blended with silk like in this yarn (Handmaiden Sea Silk). </p> <p>Janet, no, I never knit to sell. I decided a long time ago that it was not worth my time or effort, so I only knit for myself or as gifts for special people. I took the stitch pattern from a scarf pattern, and basically it's two rectangles knit sideways (with a little dip in the side of one for the neck drop in front) sewn together.
