I may have hiked the skirt up slightly in the photo and the hemline might have fallen just below the knee throughout the day. But - since this proportion looks good to you all, I'll stick with it </p> <p>@Mona: I have a pair of Naot wedges (almost 3 inches high with an inch and a half platform) and that balances the skirt out nicely. Sadly the sandals has been causing me pain because my right foot flopped around a lot. I had to take a break from it. L</p> <p>@Gracie: I wish I can get better sandals I do, more than anything want a pair that's refined yet edgy. Sadly, I'm very limited due to my foot condition. Although flats are in vogue at the moment, they KILL my feet if they don't have at least a half an inch platform, arch support, and my feet are 100% secure in it (no flopping around, which is what happens to most sandals). I cannot wear heels without that rigid platform either. I wish my feet weren't picky :(</p> <p>@fuzzylogic: thanks for the good vibes. I'm trying out other options for my feet - mainly those unlaced sneakers that are trendy right now and loafers. They all have to have a platform, of course, but putting in my insole in those things guarantee me all day comfort. There's also that brand, Fitflop, which is heaven to my feet. Sadly, styles are super limited to mainly Flipflops here in Canada. However, something fell flat in this outfit and I can't figure out what it is. I think I could have styled this better. </p> <p>The top: the drape is glorious and this feels all kinds of amazing. It's 100% silk and comfort factor is super high.</p> <p>The skirt: VC midi. My biggest workhorse as of late.</p> <p>The shoes: Cocolion mentioned they did not look modern enough when worn with the EF pants I've been lusting over. And now - I think I agree. Plus, I could've worn my more modern Naot wedges (the higher ones) but I woke up with foot pain today. I think I need to find better lower wedged/rigid heeled sandals that are more modern-edgy.</p> <p>I think the shoes are the main reason this outfit fell flat, and secondly, the proportions. I should've hiked up the skirt. I find that on me, midi skirts work best in my more tailored, figure-hugging silhouettes. I should've gone shorter with this skirt.</p> <p>Oh and also the hair... My bangs are growing longer that I have to sweep them to the side. I look less "current" that way.
