Short shorts as well. If you got the legs to wear it - WHY NOT? I've always wondered about age appropriate dressing though. I break the rules ALL THE TIME. I'm very youthful and young at heart and I just can't make myself appear more "classic". It's not my thing!</p> <p>And yeah - I see the WIW's here and looser styles and boyfriend jeans seem to be the thing. I've tried a few of them and whether or not they work on me - it just doesn't matter. It's not my aesthetic. I love the look of tailored, slimmer fit (not bodycon) cuts and it's awesome that I found ways to wear them with comfort!</p> <p>PS. Would love to see the mid-thigh white dress!!!! That seems super conservative to me :o&nbsp; I'm 33 and still wear my shorter length skirts, especially in winter (and short shorts for that matter). Just bought a white dress that hits mid-thigh and will happily be wearing that too. If you like the length I don't think there is anything wrong with it on you, it looks cute. The outfit looks good to me. Even if the fashion world is favoring looser and longer, these are still nice tailored looking fits. I realized something from that experience. The outfit DID look great and modern! I think I was so caught up in my foot pain and the digging waistband to really appreciate the outfit! Come to think about it, perhaps that outfit does suit my more casual side!</p> <p>The arthritis pain subsided today. Nothing eventful except I needed to prepare for my annual employee review tomorrow. </p> <p>So this is my outfit: a typical unplanned, just throw it on without looking at whether it matches and get out the door. IDEALLY, I want my wardrobe to be planned this way. </p> <p>By the way - notice that I'm wearing this tube skirt in mini length? So I'm breaking the rules of being over 30 in a miniskirt, but definitely in tune with my personal style rule: "You got it? Flaunt it!" </p> <p>Is this outfit dated though? The world seems to favour midis and looser fits these days!</p> <p>Why this outfit is awesome:<br /> - comfy. Super comfy!<br /> - colourful<br /> - I made another combo for this tube skirt and it works!<br /> -I can FINALLY wear this blouse!
