I think part of the problem is that above a certain point I can't button the flappy part of the cuff, so it was creating extra bulk.</p> <p>Celia, for the faux french cuff, I basically turned the cuff up once, so it's now inside out (button on the inside). Then I put the button through the WRONG side of the buttonhole, if that makes any sense, so it ends up with two ends of the cuff pointing in the same direction rather than overlapping in opposite directions like they would do normally. Because the consensus yesterday was that my cuffs were a little too long, I tried rolling them up a third time. I'm not sure I liked it though - the extra roll made them feel rather bulky and a little stiff - so later I unrolled them and did a fake french cuff instead (see photos 4&amp;5). What do you think? </p> <p>About the boots... these are the Matisse boots I was stalking earlier in the year and which I had several missed connections with. I finally found the brown suede version at HauteLook (for a great price!) in my size and a good color.
