Thank you so much, everyone!
Taylor, I'm glad you like the scarf look! Sometimes I feel like giant scarves don't get so much love around here, but I actually have always loved them, short neck and all.

Angie, I have the same length inseam (in bare feet) as my fiance, and my pants are actually longer than his b/c I usually hem them for a little bit of heel. He is 7 inches taller than me (and, granted, has a very long torso).

Claire, I think most of the trick to getting knits to fit perfectly is to make really sure to take accurate measurements (both of yourself and your knitting gauge). I figure if I am going to take the time to make something, it should be custom fit to me. Of course there are things that don't fit as well too... you guys just don't see them! But by this point I think I am pretty good at getting my knits to fit me well.

Diana, you have the most amazing waist, and that blazer shows it off perfectly! The rectangle in me always wishes for that kind of waist. And I also love the vest you made - pretty complement to that soft, romantic blouse.

You dress with such flair and femininity in jeans and boots, I'm awed. So, so, so much to love in those outfits --- the pattern mixing and the rhapsody in blue (including the bag!), that fabulous sweater (talent times ten!) and the complementary (but low-key) army green top, the floaty blouses and the daintily pulled-in toppers... Diana, you are amazing, and you look it too!

Okay now these may very well be my favorite looks of yours to date! A couple of things jump out at me: I really like when you show a defined waist (a LOT), and I really like curved details on you like the jacket lapel in the first look. It mimics your curviness and I find it really pretty. A sharply peaked lapel on a boxy jacket wouldn't do you the same justice, IMHO.

And how, pray tell, did you knit something that fits *that* well? My mother tells me this is impossible (at least that's what she'd tell me after knittting me some huge sack of a sweater). You look extremely fab here, dear!

Very nice pattern mixing in the first outfit -- I agree that it is killer Diana fabness. I love the rich color and shape of the vest in 6/7. It reminds me of the some of the bodices I have worn in operas onstage -- such a feminine line. You dress creatively without looking "costumey," and I say "Brava!"

I really dig the blazer look and the great print on the shirt you have layered. I am going to have to get in on the hair band trick soon I think... after shoving my sleeves up every 10 minutes all day today

That blazer is absolutely fab Diana! Not only do have these gorgeous long legs Angie speaks of, but the tiniest waist! And I love your Naot boots - I bought a pair of Naot mid-calf boots last year and they are ridiculously comfortable.

I'll be back to comment on your fabness Diana, but in the mean time I am crowning you Queen Naturally Long Leg line. You have the same length of leg line in flats as most people have wearing heels (at your height). It's amazing! You are all legs

1-5: WIW 02.21.12 - trying out the hairband trick to scrunch my blazer sleeves! It worked like a dream. This jacket is by Ines Raspoort (via Century 21), whom Google tells me is a Dutch designer but about whom I don't know much about, and is made of a lovely grey and black printed lightweight wool. The sleeves are a little too long for me, so it's perfect for cuffing and scrunching. I wore it with just the top button closed, but have also included a pic of it with all the buttons closed - I liked this from the front but not the back/side since it made the blouse underneath pouf out too much.

Wearing Ines Raspoort blazer, H&M blouse, Vince jeans, Naot boots, Georg Jensen necklace, ??? silver bracelet, ??? scarf, Allison Scott handbag.

6-7: WIW 02.17.12 - This vest is another one of my handknit pieces. I really like the combo of wine red and army green I have going on here.

Wearing Anthro blouse, handknit vest, Lucky jeans, Portlandia booties
