Part of the reason I chose that dress was the pockets. Hands in pockets can be so calming, but in the moment I forgot to use them. More rehearsal can be calming too...maybe next time I'll try that.</p> <p><b>Lucy&nbsp;-</b>&nbsp;you know, you're right. My instinct is straight-ahead dressy/girly, but that just doesn't play these days. I photograph an outfit and I think, yeah that would have been great 20 years ago. Found two possibilities, picked one, styled it, done.</p> <p>I usually wear skirts, but there's nothing like a dress for put-it-on-and-forget-it when performing.
