We had the neighborhood cat neutered today (in my laundry room!!) by the mobile vet. Genghis is just starting to get his sea legs back, but he's still pretty loupy. He was most unhappy with me this morning, but I'm hoping some rotisserie chicken later tonight will win him back.  Pretty nerve-wracking day. My youngest was only 3 hours away so occasional weekends were doable. My sister just dropped off her youngest in GA this past weekend and she's in Buffalo. And she's really struggling because her babies are twins so she lost 2 at once. You expressed how I've been feeling since July, with a shift back to more quiet colors/less pattern.
