Love this. The sweater is so richly textured and it's a colour.

So frustrating about that dress code. I think you have the right attitude towards it all.

Polished RATE.

And yea, all it takes is one or two for a company to go back to uniforms. Or a stricter dress code. My company used to allow jeans until people started wearing ones clearly meant for cleaning the garage and not work.

So fun! That's a great little cropped sweater, I love how the very open mesh echoes the tears in the jeans. Hope the dress code thing smooths over, maybe someone can chat with the inappropriate workers early on about what does and doesn't fly :\

love. also, agree with you about not being able to be appropriate..sadly epidemic in some parts.

I don't think the dress code will last long. It would be nice if it did. I have many co workers who couldn't be appropriate if their lives depended on it.

I really like this. RATE, but pulled together at the same time. The crop is great - really shows off your waist. It will be interesting to see how long the dress code lasts.

Nodding with Elly -- they don't want to pay for the uniform. I love the sweater and think the black tee is a great way to get lots of coverage and wear a cropped sweater (note to self). I also think the sweater is a nice bookend to the rips in the jeans. Very cute.

Ah -- been there done that, I think a lot of companies go back and forth on this because they really want their employees to wear a uniform, but they don't want to pay for the uniform.

My job has decided to ditch the uniform and is starting a dress code. For the most part, I'm covered by my current wardrobe. A couple years ago, they let us wear our own tops as long as we wore a company smock that we could purchase. It was discontinued after a few months when they didn't like some of our choices. I don't expect it to be any different this time. If it is still going on, it will affect my spring purchasing.

WIW, not dress code friendly,
