I got dressed, checked email and read the event was cancelled due to slippery roads and general lack of snow tires - there was a rumored 16 car pile up that closed the interstate a few hours ago.</p> <p>#2 the view out my back yard at 5 pm. It will all melt tomorrow.</p> <p>Gigi and others suggested trying more tunic lengths in my how to style the boots post. I had forgotten this corduroy shirt that I bought last spring - perfect cozy fabric for today. I'm going to taper it a bit next time I have my sewing machine out as I have a lot of room around the waist and hips to fit my shoulders and bust. I did the single bigger cuff per Angie. I carried my re-discovered and -conditioned brown Coach bag, but forgot it for the photos. YLF is making me into a bag lady.</p> <p>I was not going to waste an outfit (and the first wear of the new boots), so I made dinner reservations - we have excellent tires!&nbsp;I really liked the full effect - didn't feel stumpy. Thanks YLF - but any comments or improvements are welcome.&nbsp; </p>
