The shapes &amp; style really complement you. :)&nbsp;Also, I love white &amp; blue in the summer.</p> <p>I've adjusted to the heat a bit&nbsp;since moving here too&nbsp;(this is my 3rd summer here &amp; it doesn't feel as terrible as the last ones did, although I think that's also because the weather's been a bit cloudier &amp; cooler this year), but I still run warm so I need to wear breezy stuff when I'm going for walks. Otherwise, I feel fine when I walk out the door, but within 10 minutes I'm hot and cranky. I don't think I've posted this before, but in any event it's what I'm wearing today in the heat of Texas summer. Really, to me 100 degrees as a high temp isn't as bad as it sounds. I think after 30+ years in Texas I'm pretty used to it and sometimes even wear my "summer" jeans in August.</p> <p>I thought about ruffles this morning when I read Angie's post, and then I thought about lace - and how both are things I just don't feel that comfortable wearing. This lace print tee however, is more my style so I reached for it. It's super soft and maybe a little RATE in person. I mixed it with my python print belt and white/tan UGG slip ons and my daily summer bag in off white.</p> <p>I opted for no jewelry as when I wear a patterned top I sometimes feel like skipping adding any additional embellishments.</p> <p>Top: Current Elliott Freshman Tee in Lace Print<br />Shorts: DIY cutoffs (Levis)<br />Belt: ?&nbsp; $10 on Amazon last year<br />Shoes: UGG<br />Bag: Elliott Lucca (it's an "Elliott" kind of day for me I guess)</p> <p>I always appreciate input, suggestions, etc.</p> <p>Edit: Oh, and my hair is just in a ponytail, I didn't get it cut. In case anyone wonders. :-)</p>
