I hear such great things about it.&nbsp;</p> https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/topic/wiw---weekend-trip-to-seattle#post-1384045 Mon, 27 Oct 2014 01:28:06 +0000 Sara L. 1384045@https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/ <p>We were in Seattle over the weekend for my company's employee appreciation party. &nbsp;The bulk of the company is located in the Pacific Northwest with the Albuquerque office sort of an outlier. &nbsp;The company paid for an employee and guest to fly to Seattle and for one night in a hotel. &nbsp;We got in around 1 pm yesterday and our flight out this morning was at 11 am. &nbsp;Maybe next year, if we can sort out the babysitting, we'll be able to go for 2 or 3 days.&nbsp;</p> <p>I loved Seattle and really hope to visit again with more time and better weather.&nbsp;Everyone we met from Seattle was super friendly and helpful.&nbsp;I actually sort of liked the rain just because it's unusual to get that&nbsp;type of rain in NM. &nbsp;We usually get our rain in short, intense thunderstorms. &nbsp;We didn't get to do as much as we wanted though since the weather was so bad - not just rainy but windy as well. &nbsp;We had planned to walk to the Sculpture Park but we mostly just wandered around the Pike Place Market.&nbsp;&nbsp;We found a bar with a view of the water and hung out for awhile drinking local beer.</p> <p>#1 - This what I wore on the plane, to wander around PIike Place Market and for the party. &nbsp;The party was business casual and the information said no jeans or tennis shoes. &nbsp;There were people much more dressed up than me, but there were many more at this level of casual. &nbsp;I was really glad I had flat shoes on since there wasn't enough places to sit and I ended up standing most of the night.</p> <p>#2 - Here's the back of the sweater which I didn't get a picture of while on. &nbsp;I normally don't like anything with a southwest motif (the sweater was a gift) but I really like this one and part of that is because of the interesting back.</p> <p>#3 - at Pike Place Market. &nbsp;I'm wearing the black leather backpack I posted about earlier and it worked well. &nbsp;I don't have a picture from the back or side though.</p> <p>#4 - What I wore today for the trip home. &nbsp;I wore the same green jacket as in pic #3.&nbsp;</p> <p> </p>
