I posted from my phone so the Find was not working.&nbsp;</p> <p>The outfit was a great success for the events and the weather. And the chili fest was a lot of fun. Competitors from up and down the entire eastern seaboard, and lots of people having a great time. I judged in the chili verde portion, and I burned my tongue a little bit on one of my early tastes, so I felt like my ability to taste everything properly was a little compromised. I was encouraged by the fact that at the end of our round of judging, I was one of three judges huddled around one particular choice, digging into a second taste -- I wonder if that one won! It was hard to know in the end because we just saw numbers, no names. I think that they might have compiled a list so the judges can see later on how the vote turned out, but I haven't seen that yet.&nbsp;</p> <p>Denise, I popped a couple of Rolaids when I got home. Just to be safe. ;-)&nbsp;</p> <p>Suz, you make a great point that I manage to pull something together for all kinds of unusual events! I was not really looking for another black top when I saw this -- I had just gotten that black cold-shoulder top -- but I couldn't resist when I saw the grommet detail and the easy but not too voluminous cut. I think the hemline really works well too, even without a semi-tuck. I'm glad you like it too! Today we are having a big chili fest -- it's a nationally-recognized chili competition so big prizes for the winners! Live music also, of course. It's called the Rock 'n' Roll Chili Bowl, and my boss asked if I would be willing to be a judge. Should be fun -- and filling! </p> <p>So I wanted to be a little rock'n'roll today for the occasion. It's going to be quite warm today too, so sleeveless and a skirt appealed to me. Trouve top, Blank NYC skirt, the Aimee Kestenberg backpack, and the Freebirds. I also got these earrings from Nordsrrom recently and I love them. And the Fordite ring always adds a little something to a neutral outfit. </p>
